I've recent picked up studying again and dove into a book recommended by Dan Luvisi called "Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter" by James Gurney. The book discusses the science of color and light and how we can apply these principles to our art. I'm only a bit in but I've learned quite a lot already. This study took about 5-7 hours total. I drew a lot of inspiration from impressionist artist like Jeff Watts, recommended by the great Wjotek Fus. I wanted to really start to distinguish my style so really played around with this one and I'm pretty happy with the results. I hope you all enjoy this piece as much as I hope she will as well.
